The home has recently been extended by the acquisition of the property next door, and there are plans to upgrade the original building. The home has good access to the main shopping area, churches, bus and rail stations, library, hospital and doctors` surgeries. The accommodation is spread over three floors, served by two passenger lifts. The home is registered to provide accommodation for 40 people, and the accommodation is arranged in 28 single rooms and 6 double rooms. There are small garden areas at the front of the building and a central garden area. Specialist teams are on hand day and night to provide emotional and practical support to our residents, making sure they feel completely at home in their environment.
Also a very big thank you for all the great kindness extended to Dad during his daily visits. I was particularly grateful for the professionalism shown by yourself Kay, Ancy and Jyothi and all of the staff in helping to ease Mum through her final days. Brooklands Nursing Home (Banbury)
Yes, we assess changes in residents eating habits and when there is cause for concern the local SALT department visit the residents concerned and advise what is required. A hairdresser visits every week, a chiropodist every 6 weeks and communions are held once a month. Eye tests can be conducted in the home and visits to the dentist can be arranged. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities & interact with other residents, but resident’s preferences are always respected.

My 97-year-old nanna has come on leaps and bounds since coming to the care home in 2020. One lady has been amazing in setting up initially facetime over the portal and then visits.

We Care Group provides dementia care in both a residential and nursing setting. Each of our homes that support people living with dementia is uniquely designed to make residents feel comfortable in their homes. Corridors are filled with photos and murals to evoke fond memories from the past as well as memorabilia to encourage stimulation. Colours are used throughout the home to create positive associations and trigger the right response to a situation and the food and menus are designed to cater specifically for residents with dementia. Several of our homes even have a dementia garden creating a sensory experience in a beautiful setting. Brooklands 1 is a privately owned care home located within five minutes from Banbury town centre, providing 24 hour nursing care to residents.
Residential care is long-term care provided to adults who are staying in a residential setting rather than in their own home. Our homes provide accommodation, meals, daily activities and personal care such as washing and eating. Brooklands is a purpose build 45 beds residential and nursing care home.Our specially adapted interiors and exteriors, friendly staff and family-based atmosphere invite the residents to relax and enjoy their stay. Brooklands offers residents an experience tailored specifically to their needs. Our chef teams use great ingredients to provide freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals based on regularly changing, seasonal menus. We make mealtimes an occasion for our residents, enabling them to enjoy their food in welcoming surroundings and catered for by our care teams. Residents always have multiple options to choose from at all meal times and can opt for something different if they change their minds when the food arrives. Brooklands provided a caring, friendly and safe environment from day one.

Bariatric care is provided in both a residential and nursing setting depending on a resident’s needs. Our teams are trained to support bariatric residents with their mobility, provide the right type of care to meet individual needs , as well as supporting bariatric residents with their daily tasks. Our chef teams make sure dietary requirements and plans are followed whilst also being considerate to any preferences our bariatric residents may have. Home to a large raised fish pond, our attractive garden is popular with garden enthusiasts who enjoy helping to keep the raised flowerbeds looking good. Family and friends join Residents for meals which are served in one of our dining rooms or, if our Residents wish, they can choose to eat in the privacy of their own rooms. The lovely garden, which is looked after by some of our Residents, is a favourite location in which to relax or socialise with friends and relatives. All our bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Residents can also purchase individual telephone services/Sky TV packages for their bedrooms if they wish to do so. The home is accessible for wheelchair users, and handrails are available in all communal areas. We have a range of specialist equipment to meet the needs of our residents. Our caring and empathetic teams provide highly sensitive and compassionate end-of-life care within our nursing homes, working with your loved one and their family, as well as their GP and other health professionals, to plan their care.
